Website design for construction company
Website design for a construction company costs $1,000 to $1,500 with ASIIC Digital for a regular site, and the two grading and excavation sites we built have brought in 31 quote requests through their forms. Here's what they're built from.
- $1,000 to $1,500
- 31 quote requests
- Owner dashboard
What it needs
What a construction company website has to do
- Cost guides. Excavation, land clearing, French drains, yard leveling. On both grading sites we built, price pages are among the most-clicked, and Grading Lands' first request came from one.
- Problem pages. Standing water in the yard, water in the crawl space, a washed-out driveway. People often search the problem, not the trade.
- Permit and rules pages. Permits get searched too: Ridgeline's guide to land grading permits in NC has been seen 495 times in Google.
- Service and town pages for each job you do in each town you work.
- Your own job photos and video, and a quote form on every page, even the error page.
Construction websites we built
Ridgeline Grading and Grading Lands
Ridgeline Grading
456 pages across 8 counties. After the homepage, its most-clicked page is a price page, culvert installation cost in NC (14 clicks), and its demolition cost page has been seen 1,110 times.
Grading Lands
Its first request came on day 3, from the excavation cost page, and nearly all of its 297 pages have shown up in Google. It also tells customers “Se habla español,” and the owner has a private dashboard, in English or Spanish, with visitors, Google numbers and a bid maker.
Source: Google Search Console for each site, June 1, 2026 to Oct. 21, 2026. Impressions are times Google showed a page in its results, not visits. Google hides rare searches from these reports, so the totals are a floor.
Source: the sites' form inboxes (Formspree) through Oct. 15, 2026. Phone calls aren't counted here.
The market
Construction businesses competing for the same searches
Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood and Transylvania counties have 1,820 construction businesses with employees between them (Census County Business Patterns 2023). The ones with a cost guide and a page for each town show up for searches a homepage alone doesn't answer.
Questions
Common questions
Do construction companies need cost pages?
Yes. On both grading sites we built, price pages are among the most-clicked, and Grading Lands' first request came from its excavation cost page.
Can my site be in Spanish too?
We can add Spanish where it helps. Grading Lands' public site is in English with a “Se habla español” line, and its owner dashboard runs in English or Spanish.
What about an owner dashboard?
We built one for Grading Lands with visitors, Google numbers and a bid maker. Ask about it with your mockup.
